The Women In Community Action, Inc. (WICA) Scholarship Committee is excited to provide assistance and financial support in the form of scholarships to graduating Seniors and their parents. We work collaboratively with schools, local churches, and other community organizations to ensure that this scholarship opportunity is made aware to those graduating Seniors who meet the criteria. WICA has provided over $155,000.00 in scholarships to deserving students to support their higher education goals.
$1000.00 scholarships were awarded to 2022 Graduating Seniors at the following high schools:
1. Chartering Members Scholarship - Unity Reed High School
2. Mary F. Williams Community Service Scholarship - Brooke Pointe High School
3. WICA Presidential Scholarship - Colgan High School
4. Clara L. Harris Leadership Scholarship - Woodbridge Senior High School
5. Fannie W. Fitzgerald Education Trailblazer - C. D. Hylton High School
6. Deloris Hampton Public Service Scholarship - Colonial Forge High School
7. Glorine Gholson Ingenious Scholarship - Massaponax High School
8. WICA Scholarly Award Scholarship - Brooke Pointe High School
